When chocolatiers talk, we listen. And when the chocolatiers from Coleman & Davis Artisan Chocolate offer up a simple recipe for iced hot chocolate, we get cooking. But first, we’ll share it with you. You’re welcome.

Iced Hot Chocolate

  • 4 ounces high quality 70%+ chocolate (recommended: Sambirano Madagascar by Coleman & Davis)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup organic milk
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 2 tablespoons organic sugar to taste (This will vary depending on the chocolate you use, so start light and add more if needed)

Melt chocolate in a bain marie (a hot water bath), slowly stirring in water. Pour mixture into high-powered blender and add remaining ingredients. Blend away to desired consistency. Enjoy!
