Tom Ford’s $75 Million New Mexico Ranch Is Just as Stunning as You’d Imagine

The designer’s estate includes an airstrip and an old-time Western town — and now it can all be yours

Designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, the 20,000-square-foot Cerro Pelon Ranch is a modernist masterpiece set among the wide open spaces of New Mexico’s Galisteo Basin. Owned by fashion designer and film director Tom Ford, the home recently hit the market for $75 million — a price that for any other house would be a bit steep, but makes sense given the fact that Cerro Pelon includes stables, a tennis court, reflecting pools and two guest houses in addition to the sleek main house. Rounding it all out is a hangar and airstrip for your private plane, and an actual working movie set. Silverado Movie Town has been featured in various westerns, like Silverado, Lonesome Dove and 3:10 to Yuma, among others.
