At 124 feet tall, the Falcon Nest home is the world’s tallest single-family house, nestled beside Thumb Butte in Prescott, Arizona
Designed by Phoenix architect Sukumar Pal, AIA, this northern Arizona home offers a birds-eye view of the surrounding Prescott Valley. Known as the Falcon Nest, the 10-story home is on the market for $1.5 million and includes three bedrooms and four bathrooms, all on 1.08 acres. The property relies on various sources of clean energy to power its luxe amenities, such as a hydraulic elevator that provides access from the garage to the sixth floor, as well as passive solar technologies that provide power without obstructing the views through the glass ceilings. While the entire home is a stunner, it’s the sixth floor solarium that is the star of the show, with 2,000 square feet of glass paneled living space and views of the towering San Francisco peaks in the distance.
